The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Vitaly closes the distance and clinches.

Zamora jumps guard.
Vitaly wants to control from the top but Zamora keeps moving.
Zamora looking for a sweep. Not yet Zamora, not yet.
Zamora lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Zamora is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Zamora gets to his feet - Vitaly follows without any prompting.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Vitaly fails with the takedown
and Zamora counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt.

Vitaly closes the distance and clinches.
Vitaly tries for a takedown. No joy.
Vitaly changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Zamora fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Millard Zamora has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ivan Vitaly.

Vitaly tries to score with a low kick but Zamora moves his leg out of the way.
Zamora is looking to counter with a body kick.

Vitaly rushes Zamora and presses him up against the cage.

Zamora pulls guard effortlessly.
Zamora is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Vitaly trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Vitaly is sitting in close to Zamora's body. Zamora has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Vitaly is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Vitaly is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Zamora.
