PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between macmac magbanua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Crash Holly (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Holly is bouncing up and down as he enters the arena, backed by Slow Death. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holly keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl.

magbanua gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

magbanua throws his legs up looking to secure a triangle. Oh, that looks pretty tight, I gotta say! Holly escapes and throws magbanua's legs to the side, diving into side control!
A bit of a lull in the action. I'm sure it will pick up again soon... even if the ref has to physically pick them up and put them back on their feet.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Holly is looking to finish here, going for an Americana. magbanua knows the correct defense though, so he's OK.

Despite being in the dominant position, Crash Holly just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Holly fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Holly fails with an attempt to clinch.

magbanua shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Holly's guard.

Horrible takedown by magbanua or perhaps it was just good defense by Holly which made him look bad.

Holly lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage.
