Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Chris Coath (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Kimroy Hoo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Coath comes into the arena with For Heavy Metal we will die! blaring out of the sound system. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Coath seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Hoo lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Chris Coath seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Coath thuds his right hand into Hoo's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Coath lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hoo has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hoo and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hoo's coach down at THC playhouse was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Hoo's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Coath crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Hoo - the referee stops the clock and Coath gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Hoo. Coath manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
