The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McHamilton throws a series of punches but Padilla moves out of range.
Padilla seem to be loading up, looking for a big counter.
McHamilton connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.


It looks like Nelson Padilla has been cut.
McHamilton works the jab nicely.
Conor McHamilton seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Padilla avoids a punch combination nicely.
McHamilton connects with a body shot that sends Padilla's belly button to the back.
Padilla really is a fat lump.
McHamilton connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Padilla's hands.
Padilla shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says McHamilton as he avoids it easily.
Nice body punch from McHamilton.

Padilla gets a clinch.

McHamilton has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Padilla clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
McHamilton misses with punches from the back.
McHamilton is working the ground and pound. Can Padilla escape?
McHamilton thows a huge left but connects with the canvas and not his opponent.

That's one minute gone in the round.
McHamilton looking to soften up his opponent with punches.
McHamilton is landing big shots and Padilla is squirming looking to escape! He can't escape though and the ref jumps in to end the fight!
