Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Beezy James (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Dave Dodge (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Dodge will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

James shoots in for a takedown and gets it.

Dodge pushes James off and gets back to his feet.

Dodge clinches with his opponent.
Dodge can't get the takedown.
James has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Dodge is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.

James decides to pull guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Dodge wanted to stand there but James had control of the position.
James looking for a sweep. Not yet James, not yet.
Dodge engaging in some classic timewasting tactics.

James working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Dodge doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Dodge manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

James will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

James looking for submissions from the bottom here. Moving his hips around, possibly looking for an armbar.
Dodge postures up and lands a big shot to James's brow.

Dodge wants to stand but James is controlling his posture from full guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.
Dodge stands up over James, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
James looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.
Dodge throwing strikes from guard but James blocks nicely.

Dodge content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because James has locked up a guillotine! James's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Dodge is holding on here and James must be using up a lot of energy. Dodge has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! James gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
