Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Bartholomew Roberts!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
4 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Makwan Lak!
The judges for this bout are Tarja Halkonen, Johanna Lukiainen and Ben Zyskovitsi.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Roberts looks to land a combination but Lak avoids it well.
Makwan Lak seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Lak fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Roberts sprawls well initially but Lak persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Roberts scrambles, trying to get to his feet, but Lak manages to mount him!
Lak can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Roberts is looking to escape.
Lak is looking to work his way around to Roberts's back. He needs to be careful though, as he's in danger of losing this dominant position.
Lak cracks Roberts with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Roberts is rocked!
Roberts trying desperately to get to his feet.
Roberts is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lak lands a nice shot to the head.
Oh Roberts is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Roberts wants to improve position but instead he's given up his back.
Lak is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Roberts has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
Roberts is staying cool under pressure, defending well against the rear naked choke attempt from his opponent.
Roberts seems to have got his legs back now.
Roberts wants to get back to his feet.
Lak working from the back looking to end the fight with a rear naked choke. Roberts is doing well to defend. Lak seems to have got his hand under the chin though and he's sunk the choke in! Roberts is forced to tap and this one is over!
