Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, andrew okelly!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Daniel Franklin and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
rock changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. okelly looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
okelly looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
rock in side control, just content to control the action for now.
Let's hope that rock has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.
rock trying to control the position but okelly is working away.
The referee asks rock politely if he wouldn't mind getting on with it and actually doing something. rock prefers to stall for the moment though.
okelly gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard.
rock looks over to his corner - he wants some instructions but his corner are not responding.
rock is just content to waste time from the top position. okelly takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard.
okelly has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but rock can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

rock wants to pass the guard but okelly is keeping the position.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily.
rock works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.
rock decides to stand back up. rock steps back and let's okelly get back to his feet.
okelly takes a kick to the side of the head.
okelly takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
rock lands a jab-cross combination.
A solid leg kick lands there for rock.

rock swats away the attempt to clinch by okelly.
rock looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
okelly wants to sweep here but rock controlling him for the moment.

okelly had isolated an arm as going for an omaplata. rock is defending the submission well but is in a very vulnerable position. okelly Is leaning forward trying to finish the omaplata but decides to abandon it, and take rock's back instead.

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
rock throws a nice outside leg kick.
okelly shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and rock counters with a three punch combo that has okelly backing up. okelly nods at rock to acknowledge the strikes.
rock gets in close and instigates a clinch.
rock works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard.
rock really doesn't want to stay on the ground with okelly. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
rock is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound.

okelly throws his legs up looking for a submission but rock uses it to pass to side control.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
rock is pressing down on okelly's thigh, looking to free his foot. okelly is holding on for now.
okelly wants to improve his position but rock is controlling well.
rock is thwarting okelly's attempts to control the position.
The referee has ruled that neither fighter is active enough on the ground and has stood them back up.
rock closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.
okelly is moving his hips around well on the bottom and has managed to get back to half guard.

okelly really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fighter is doing enough on the ground.
okelly doesn't succeed with the takedown
and rock holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
rock is pushing okelly up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
rock breaks the clinch.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as rock accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.
rock must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
rock seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
okelly has his foot on rock's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. rock works his way back into a safe position though.

andrew rock comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well rock has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
