These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Appi tries to bum rush Colombo with a series of wild strikes but Colombo uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Colombo lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Colombo misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Colombo swings away with a body shot that misses
and Appi counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Appi bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Colombo's head.
Appi throws a head kick but Colombo moves out of range.
Appi misses with a double jab.
Appi connects with the punch.
Appi lands a jab to the head.
Colombo plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Colombo misses with a straight left.

Colombo takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.
Nice takedown defense from Appi. No joy for Colombo on that attempt.
Appi throws a big counter head kick but Colombo avoids it with no problem.
Appi lands an uppercut out of nowhere! Colombo falls backwards - clearly groggy! Appi dives in and finishes the fight with more strikes for a TKO finish!
