And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Lee!
The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Richard Clark and Paul Tew.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lee tries to close the distance and clinch up but Salazar swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Salazar stuffs the takedown.
Salazar went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Lee fails with the takedown.
Salazar is looking for a counter combo.

Salazar gets a clinch.
Lee is looking to take this one to the mat.
Granville Salazar has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jason Lee.

Salazar tightens his grip and picks Lee up, before dumping him to the ground. Lee manages to land in guard.
Salazar is working Lee over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Lee avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Salazar working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Lee doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Lee manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Salazar thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Lee manages to get to full guard.
Salazar has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Lee is proving hard to escape from.

Lee is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
Lee's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not.

Salazar breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Salazar fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Lee, pushing him back against the cage.
Lee prevents Salazar from breaking the clinch.
Lee tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Salazar just stands there and leans against the cage.

Lee on the wrong end of a kick to the body.
Lee walks forward, straight into a front kick from Salazar.
Salazar is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Lee can do to turn this around?

The fight moves into the clinch position.

Salazar turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Salazar manages to end up in side control.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Salazar goes for an armbar! This could be all over! Wait, no, Lee rolls with the submission and now he's on top in Salazar's guard! Nice work there by Lee!

Salazar lands a couple of decent looking shots.

Lee wants to stand up but Salazar is controlling him.

Well Salazar has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
