Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Hello Bay (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hafthor Raikonnen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hafthor Raikonnen was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Hello Bay!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Hafthor Raikonnen!
The judges for this bout are Arvi Lind, Ben Zyskovitsi and Roosa Järviläinen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raikonnen scores with a body shot.
A telegraphed right hand from Bay misses the target.
Raikonnen lands a nice hook to Bay's body. Bay takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Bay misses with a series of wild punches.
Bay throws a lazy right hand but Raikonnen sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Bay avoids a punch combination nicely.

The fight moves into the clinch position.
Bay lands a nice uppercut.
Raikonnen misses with a punch on the inside.

Bay turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Bay manages to end up in side control.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bay working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter.
Bay has improved his flexibility recently so we will have to see if he can use that to his advantage.
Bay throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Raikonnen works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure.
Bay throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Bay drops an elbow to the side of Raikonnen's head.
Bay throwing shots but Raikonnen is blocking nicely.
Raikonnen is trying to get back to full guard.

Bay not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.

Bay has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Raikonnen is trying to get back to full guard.
Bay looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Raikonnen with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Bay lands strikes from half guard.
Raikonnen looks winded!

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Raikonnen can do anything to dispel that myth.

Bay landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Bay lands a big elbow - Raikonnen is out of it! He's waving his arms around but his eyes are closed and he's not intelligently defending himself - the ref has no choice but to jump in and stop the fight! This one is in the books! A TKO win for Bay!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Hello Bay!
A relieved looking Hello Bay thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
