Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Landon Walter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James Makambu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice sprawl there from Walter as Makambu shoots in.
Makambu should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.
Makambu pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Makambu misses with a hook.
Makambu misses with a series of wild punches.
Makambu swings for the body but Walter moves out of range.
Makambu tries for a takedown but Walter circles away easily

and Walter counters by moving into the clinch.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Makambu is looking to take this one to the mat.
Landon Walter has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James Makambu.
Makambu jumps guard but Walter stands there with Makambu around his waist. Makambu gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Makambu is trying to pull guard but being pressed up against the cage enables Walter to keep the fight standing.

Walter cracks Makambu with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Walter immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Makambu is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Walter!
