Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Terry Allen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Rich Piana (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Terry Allen!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Rich Piana!
The judges for this bout are Dirk Anderson, Michael Johnstone and Peter Branson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Piana looks to land a right hand but Allen moved out of range.
Piana darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

It looks like Terry Allen has been cut.
Piana uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Allen.
Allen pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Piana takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Piana misses with a double jab.
Piana's coach down at Rabid Dog was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Piana's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Piana chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Allen can pounce on him.
Piana misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Allen tries to clinch up
and Piana connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Allen misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
A low kick from Allen is predictable there
and Piana counters with a left to the body.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Piana keeps the fight on the outside.
Allen is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Piana.
Piana appears to be waiting to throw a counter punch to the body.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Piana misses the shot to the body.
Piana throws a shot to the body.
Allen wants to clinch but Piana slips to the side
enabling Piana to counter with a crisp jab.
Allen tries to clinch but Piana is having none of it.
Allen doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Allen is breathing heavily.
Good standup being displayed there by Piana as he connects with a hook.
Piana lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.
Piana blocks a head kick by Allen.
Piana scores with a jab.
Piana finds Allen's off switch, with a big overhand right that connects perfectly to the side of the head! Allen flops back against the cage, eyes gazing into the distance. Piana lands an unnecessary shot before the referee has time to step in and end the fight. Brutal stuff but I'm sure Allen will be OK.
