Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Myers scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Blue tries to clinch up but Myers circles away and keeps his distance.
Myers looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Blue tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Myers's coach down at Rabid Dog was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Myers's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.
Blue throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Blue gets cracked there but stands up to it.

Myers lands a high kick!
Myers throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Myers moves into range and throws a combination. A nice jab followed by a hook to the body.

Myers drives through and clinches with Blue against the cage.

Blue's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!

Myers pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Myers gets cracked there but stands up to it.

A solid leg kick lands there for Myers.

Myers throws a body punch but Blue moves out of range.
Myers throws a hook to the side of Blue's head but Blue sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
The fighters circle momentarily. Myers darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.

Willie Blue's cut is getting worse.

Myers lands a jab to Blue's midsection.

Blue sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.

Mercy Myers seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Myers cracks Blue with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Myers connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.
Myers throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
A looping hook to the body misses from Myers. Blue does a little dance to reset his feet.
Myers keeps his opponent at a distance with a nice jab.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Blue looks to land a right hand but Myers moved out of range.
Myers connects with a solid leg kick.
Myers cracks Blue with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.
Mercy Myers is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Myers lands a nice hook to Blue's body. Blue takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
An inside leg kick lands from Myers.
Myers is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Blue had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.
Blue will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.

Myers is moving around nicely and scores here with a single head shot.
Myers displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blue.

Myers turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.

Blue wants to break free but Myers has control.
Myers pushes Blue back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Myers dips a shoulder and cracks Blue with a mighty uppercut! Blue falls back against the cage and Myers unloads with a barrage of strikes! Blue is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Myers screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
