Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 12 - 2 - 0, fighting out of The Island, Tapio Valo!
The judges for this bout are Winston Alpacca, Michael Johnstone and Daniel Franklin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valo smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button.
Valo scores with a decent looking hook.

Mastioli feints and as Valo raises his hands in defense, Mastioli changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Valo wants to improve his position but instead Mastioli has moved into half guard.
Mastioli throwing shots but they're hitting the canvas more than the man.
Valo is looking for a sweep. Mastioli is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Mastioli is trying to control the action in half guard but Valo is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.

Mastioli is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Mastioli takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
Mastioli is keen to just control but Valo is a slippery customer.
Valo tries to roll over but Mastioli keeps him under control.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Valo is trying to stand up here but Mastioli is controlling him well.
Valo is not content to let Mastioli control the position.
Mastioli sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Valo wants to improve his position but Mastioli is controlling well.
Mastioli wants to control but Valo is keeping him busy.
Valo is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Valo is trying to stand up here but Mastioli is controlling him well.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.
Valo fakes a jab and then connects with a hook.

It looks like Mastioli Mastioli has been cut.

Valo drops Mastioli with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Mastioli looks back up at him and smiles so Valo waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Mastioli is rocked!
Valo lands a slapping body shot.
Tapio Valo seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Mastioli tries to keep at a distance but Valo has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mastioli tries a body shot but Valo blocks it.
Mastioli wants to break free but Valo has control.
Valo softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage.
Mastioli tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Valo smiles and moves away.
Valo scores with a nice right hand.
Oh Mastioli is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Are you kidding me?! Valo ducked down and unloaded an uppercut from hell that sent Mastioli clean off his feet! Someone make me a GIF - that's knockout of the night for sure!
