Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Prince Idowu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Luciano Maciel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Idowu comes into the arena with My name is Prince blaring out of the sound system. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A slow jab from Idowu misses its intended target.
We've been told by Idowu's head coaches at The Bear's Den that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight.
Idowu tests Maciel's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Maciel cracks Idowu with a right hand to the side of the head.
Idowu connects with the punch.
Idowu throws a hook to the side of Maciel's head but Maciel sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Maciel is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here.
Maciel slips a jab from Idowu.
Maciel just misses with a punch to the body.
Idowu keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Prince Idowu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Idowu dips to his left and cracks Maciel with an uppercut!
Idowu missing with a left hand there. Maciel was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.
Maciel steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Idowu.
Maciel drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Idowu defends it well.
Maciel throws a leg kick but Idowu sees it coming and checks it nicely.
Idowu jabs. That one connects to the head of his opponent.

Idowu explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there!

Idowu lands a lovely overhand right.

Maciel is rocked!
Maciel tries a head kick but it misses.
Maciel is still on wobbly legs! Can Idowu finish him?
Idowu moves out of range as Maciel strikes.
Maciel seems to have recovered his senses.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Idowu, as that shot connected.
Maciel cracks Idowu with a right hand to the side of the head.
Good exchange - Idowu coming out on top.
Idowu waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Maciel.
Maciel tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away.
Idowu misses with an uppercut. Maciel saw that one coming.

Idowu gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Maciel stops Idowu from standing up.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Maciel throws an elbow that misses. Idowu uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Maciel's guard. Nice move by Idowu!

Idowu stands up over his opponent, looking to dive in with a big punch. Here he comes, superman style! Oh, the punch misses and Maciel has got him in a triangle choke for good measure! Oh no! Idowu manages to get his head free but now Maciel has transitioned to an armbar! Idowu grimaces and is forced to tap! Beautiful Jiu Jitsu from Maciel! I'd be surprised if that didn't end up as submission of the night!
