PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jake LaMotta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hayato Gokudera (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). LaMotta's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Cavalleria Rusticana: Intermezzo. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from LaMotta.
LaMotta misses with a double jab.
LaMotta darts in and out, connecting with a jab.

Gokudera shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it.
LaMotta throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Gokudera sees it coming and avoids it easily.
LaMotta does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
The sound of bone on bone echoes around the arena as Gokudera checks a leg kick.
Gokudera swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target.
LaMotta throws a series of punches but Gokudera avoids them all with ease.
LaMotta moves out of range of the strikes.

LaMotta connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
LaMotta looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.

LaMotta dances in with a quick combination. Gokudera is being worked over with jabs and crosses. Oooh, a right straight from LaMotta snaps Gokudera's head back. Gokudera stumbles backwards against the cage. LaMotta steps forward and delivers a right cross that connects with Gokudera's jaw, simultaneously knocking him out and sending his mouthpiece into the crowd! There's a worthy souvenir for the fans. This one is over folks. Gokudera just didn't come prepared.
