Bones comes to the cage accompanied by Thunderstruck. Pedro Romero has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Charley Bones's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bones throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.

Romero gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.

Romero has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Bones uses from the top position.
Romero is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Charley Bones seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
