Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lee van Cleef (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Eric Bush (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, Sam Margolis and Colin Fotheringham.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bush closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Bush lands in his opponent's guard.
Bush slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
I looks like Bush might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.
van Cleef is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
Bush is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.

A nice leg kick lands there from van Cleef.
Horrible takedown by Bush or perhaps it was just good defense by van Cleef which made him look bad.
Lee van Cleef has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Eric Bush.
Bush misses with a takedown attempt - van Cleef sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Bush has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for van Cleef.
van Cleef looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Eric Bush has got the better of the ground game so far.
van Cleef tries to roll but Bush sticks to his back.
What can van Cleef do to escape this position? He's going to have to figure it out pretty quick if he wants to stay in the fight!

Eric Bush showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Bush is looking to sinch up a triangle. van Cleef throws the leg off to one side though and gets in tight to Bush's body to avoid the submission. Bush has instead reached around van Cleef's neck and now has a guillotine! Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Bush arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.
