Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Alco Holic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Gary Perez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Perez has chosen Lose Yourself as his entrance music. Alco Holic could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Gary Perez's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Holic takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.
Perez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Perez pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Perez checks a leg kick nicely.
Perez throws a right and a left that Holic avoids nicely.
Perez throws a series of punches but Holic avoids them all with ease.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Holic avoids the head kick by Perez.
Perez tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Perez swinging wilding here.
Holic misses with a hook. Perez ducked under it nicely.

Holic drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
Holic stays in close to Perez's body and controls the position.

Holic drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Holic jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Holic gets to his feet - Perez follows without any prompting.

Holic shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.

Perez really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Holic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Perez is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Holic stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
Holic is breathing heavily.
Perez rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Holic moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Holic throws a decent looking leg kick but it doesn't land clean.

Holic has a takedown stuffed.
Perez fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Perez throws a nice head kick!
Holic throws and low kick but Perez moves out of range easily.
Holic throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Holic takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Perez throws a nice looking combination but Holic bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Perez blocks a head kick by Holic.
Holic takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Holic tries to land a leg kick but Perez saw it coming and moves away.
Holic is on the wrong end of a nice combination from Perez.
Perez lands with a slapping head kick.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Perez lands with a kick to the temple. Holic shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"
Holic misses with a low kick.
Perez misses with a head kick.
Perez throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Holic.

Perez throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Holic drives through with a takedown into guard.
Holic trying to control but Perez is working from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Perez wants to get back to his feet but he's too absorbed in his own little project and Holic manages to pass to side control.
Holic not doing much here.

Holic is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Perez sees it coming and defends easily.
Holic wants to free his trapped foot but Perez is holding on for dear life with his legs.
Perez is trying to stand.

Perez is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Holic changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Perez looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Holic has an Americana. Perez didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Holic is delighted and gyrates infront of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Holic hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
