Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shawn Barrientos (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Andy Mcnab (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Shawn Barrientos!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Andy Mcnab!
The judges for this bout are Ivan Kurochkin, Dmitry Maklakov and Viktor Lagutenko.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mcnab throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Barrientos's waist but Barrientos gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Mcnab off to one side.
Mcnab is looking to clinch.
Mcnab rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Barrientos moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Good shot there by Barrientos.
Some wild striking there from Mcnab.
Mcnab tries to close the distance and clinch up but Barrientos swats him away and circles back towards the center.
Barrientos stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush.
Mcnab looks to land a combination but Barrientos avoids it well.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Mcnab misses with a takedown
and Barrientos counters with a lovely straight right hand!
Mcnab tries to clinch up but Barrientos circles away and keeps his distance.
Mcnab fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Mcnab changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Barrientos tries to avoid it but Mcnab manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Barrientos to the ground. Barrientos escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Shawn Barrientos has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Andy Mcnab.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Barrientos slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range.
Mcnab misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Mcnab gets clipped by a big right hand and goes down spinning to the canvas! Barrientos gets the back mount and begins to drop bombs on his rocked foe! Mcnab is too out of it to defend against the strikes and the referee jumps in to save him from the beatdown!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:19 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Shawn Barrientos!
