Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Vivaldi keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Vivaldi throws a counter combo.
Vivaldi avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
Haapasaari ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Vivaldi moves away.
Vivaldi has his takedown stuffed

and Haapasaari counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
Vivaldi has momentary wrist control but Haapasaari slips an elbow through the middle.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Haapasaari drops back looking for a leg! Vivaldi is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Vivaldi manages to kick Haapasaari off! Haapasaari jumps back into Vivaldi's guard.

Haapasaari lands a couple of good shots and Vivaldi has given up his back, trying to escape the position!

We've been informed that Vivaldi has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Vivaldi closes the distance and clinches up with Haapasaari, looking for a takedown. Vivaldi pushes Haapasaari against the cage but Haapasaari circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Vivaldi shoots in for a takedown but Haapasaari shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Haapasaari connects with a couple of short punches.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Vivaldi can do anything to dispel that myth.

Haapasaari drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Haapasaari as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Vivaldi screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Haapasaari! Nice submission victory there!
