Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Eloy Cook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Daniel Hill (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Vladimir Khabensky and Aleksandr Martynov.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hill defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Cook.

Cook gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Cook really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
It looks like Hill might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

Cook takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Cook holding onto his opponent's waist for dear life, as Hill tries to land some strikes to get him to release his grip.

Cook wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Hill.

Hill is working for a guillotine from mount but Cook frees his head quite easily.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

You can see the frustration on Cook's face… He knows he is in trouble unless he improves his position sooner rather than later.

Hill is working really hard to secure the rear naked choke. Cook defends successfully for a significant amount of time. Both fighters are looking very determined.
Hill slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.



Hill forces Cook back against the cage and clinches.
A short body shot lands from Cook as the two fighters clinch.

Cook breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Eloy Cook is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

and Cook counters with a solid body kick.

Hill closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Hill lands in his opponent's guard.

Cook is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Cook is looking to work some ground and pound but Hill has wrist control.

Hill is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Hill pulls Cook in close to his closed guard and prevents Cook from doing any damage or advancing position.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.
Hill wants to sweep here but Cook controlling him for the moment.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Hill closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Cook did well to prevent Hill getting side control.

Cook makes his way to full guard. A much better position for Cook.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Hill shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Cook connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Hill throws a jab, cross combination which is slipped
and Cook counters with a one-two to the body.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but Daniel Hill will probably get the nod - 10:9.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. Let's get this one finished - here comes the final round!

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Hill in particular looking to stall.

Both fighters are breathing heavily.
Hill seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Hill works his foot free and advances to mount.
Cook blocking the ground and pound.
Hill takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

Hill throws some wild stikes that Cook manages to avoid easily.
Hill misses with a series of strikes from mount. He'll no doubt be working on his ground and pound when he gets back to the gym.

Hill is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
Still in half guard, Hill seems content to control.

Daniel Hill comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
I've got Hill winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
