Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ed Hadry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jamahl Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of London, Ed Hadry!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 7 - 13 - 0, fighting out of New York, Jamahl Jones!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Hadry feints and as Jones raises his hands in defense, Hadry changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Hadry is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Jones is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Jones has escaped and now he's on top!


Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jones has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Hadry is proving hard to escape from.

Hadry is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Jones wants to pass the guard but Hadry is keeping the position.
Jones must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

We've been hearing good reports from Hadry's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Hadry shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in side control! That's better than Hadry was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!

Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
