The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Pauwels dives in for a single leg takedown but Earl sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
Earl shapes to counter with a head kick.

Pauwels lands a big uppercut and Earl crumbles to the floor! The ref thinks about stopping the fight but Earl looks OK. Pauwels waves Earl back to his feet!
