The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

A momentary lapse in concentration from Bass enables LightsOut to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Bass manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.

LightsOut could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.

LightsOut drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and LightsOut jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.

Bass misses with a two punch combination.
LightsOut appears to be looking for a counter punch to the body.
Bass feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits LightsOuts jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!

LightsOut working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bass doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bass manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.
