The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buttrick rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but haight moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Buttrick fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. haight sprawls well initially but Buttrick persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Buttrick stalling away here and it's allowed haight to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.
haight keeping moving, preventing Buttrick from controlling successfully.
haight looking to sweep here. No luck so far.
Buttrick knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for haight on the ground.
Buttrick trying to control but haight is working from the bottom.
Buttrick has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.
Buttrick tries to free his leg and advance position but haight is retaining full guard.

Buttrick darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.
haight has hold of a guillotine but he's not going to be able to crank on it really with only half guard, so it's no trouble for Buttrick. Oh but haight has got full guard now! Oh boy! This one could be over very soon! Buttrick goes limp - he's gone! haight jumps up and celebrates with the crowd - fantastic submission finish!
