Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Bill The Kid (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Vicente Nunes (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The Kid fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Nunes manages to avoid it.
Nunes works The Kid's body with a nice hook.
The Kid looks to land a right hand but Nunes moved out of range.
The Kid throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Nunes throws a sloppy body shot
and The Kid counters with a straight right hand.
The Kid throws a series of punches but Nunes moves out of range.
The Kid thuds his right hand into Nunes's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

The Kid lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Nunes tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but The Kid paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Nunes moves in looking to clinch but The Kid pushes him off.
The Kid swings and misses with a hook to the body.

This has been an exciting period of action!

The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

It looks like Vicente Nunes has been cut.
The Kid drops a shoulder and throws a monster hook that connects perfectly to the side of Nunes's head, knocking him out cold! The Kid is extatic as he celebrates with his cornermen.

Bill The Kid decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
