Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Pusher (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Roland Deschain (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Roland Deschain!
The judges for this bout are Bruno Hogan, Summer Carpenter and Skip Squint.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A jab from Deschain does it's job there.
Deschain slips a jab and a cross from Pusher.

Deschain throws a leg kick that misses.
Deschain shoots in looking for a takedown. Pusher tries to sprawl out of it but Deschain keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Pusher manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Pusher throws a body punch but Deschain moves out of range.

Pusher breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.

Pusher tries to close the distance and clinch up but Deschain swats him away and circles back towards the center.

Pusher cracks Deschain with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.

and Pusher counters with a head kick. That will keep Deschain thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!

and Deschain counters with a three punch combo that has Pusher backing up. Pusher nods at Deschain to acknowledge the strikes.
Pusher scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Deschain doesn't seem bothered though.

Thomas Pusher has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roland Deschain.

Pusher has had enough of the clinch but Deschain keeps him there for the moment.
Deschain drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Pusher gets the underhooks and prevents it.

That's time! Pusher's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.

Pusher pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Deschain throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pusher's waist but Pusher gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Deschain off to one side.

Pusher throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Deschain shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.

Deschain wants to control from the top but Pusher keeps moving.
Deschain would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Pusher on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Pusher tries to get out of the position.
Pusher wants to sweep here but Deschain controlling him for the moment.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up.
Deschain shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Pusher as he jumps to the side.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Deschain feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Deschain stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Pusher swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Pusher controls Deschain momentarily but Deschain frees himself.
Pusher is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Deschain will have to put a bit more behind his punches if he's going to do any damage from this position.

Deschain shoots for a double leg takedown but Pusher sprawls well. He's pushed Deschain's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
