The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Colin Fotheringham and Donald Grub.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Buu on the wrong end of an overhand right that came out of nowhere.
Bubbles throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
A clash of legs there as Buu blocks the low kick.
Buu wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.
Bubbles fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Ricky Bubbles seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Bubbles looks to land a left hand but Buu moved out of range nicely.
Bubbles walks into a straight right hand from Buu.

It looks like Ricky Bubbles has been cut.
Buu falls off balance throwing a combination

and Bubbles counters with a takedown into side control.
Bubbles is putting a hurting on Buu here, landing some big shots from side control.
Buu tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Buu's coaches at have been working on his defensive grappling in preparation for this fight so let's see if he can get out of this tricky position.
Buu prevents Bubbles from moving into mount.

Buu on the wrong end of some ground and pound.

Bubbles grinds an elbow into Buu's temple.
Bubbles cracks Buu with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Bubbles decides to stand back up.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Bubbles has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Bubbles sends Buu crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Bubbles is motioning to the referee to let Buu up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

Buu is rocked!
Buu switches off momentarily and Bubbles cracks him with a monster right hand! Buu topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Bubbles dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Bubbles!
