The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nebaba shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Copeland but Copeland pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Copeland half commits to a counter takedown before pushing away, out of range.

Nebaba clinches up with Copeland and pushes him back against the cage.
Nebaba is pressed up against the cage. Copeland has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Nebaba down to the mat. Nebaba avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.

Nebaba misses with a takedown attempt - Copeland sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Nebaba connects with a good straight punch right through the guard and follows up with a right hook and a left hook! That last one sent Copeland tumbling to the canvas! Nebaba pours on the pressure with more strikes and the referee has no hesitation diving in to stop the fight! Copeland was done - good stoppage!
