Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Santiago Diablo (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steve Squirrel (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

15 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Steve Squirrel!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Aleksei Zolotukhin and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Squirrel throws a leg kick
and Diablo counters with a nice double leg into guard.
Diablo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Diablo is stalling here. Squirrel is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Diablo seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Squirrel has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work.
Squirrel landing a few strikes.
Diablo is looking to reverse the position.
Squirrel scoring with punches from side control.
Squirrel postures up a little and throws a couple of hammerfists but they don't connect properly.
Squirrel in side control lands a decent elbow.
Squirrel throws a strike aimed at the side of Diablo's head but Diablo avoids it well.
Squirrel throwing strikes but Diablo manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Squirrel is looking to reverse the position.
Diablo wants to control but Squirrel is keeping him busy.
The ground and pound from Diablo seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Squirrel tries to improve position but can't.
Squirrel wants to control but Diablo postures up.
Squirrel is looking to regain half guard here but Diablo keeps moving and retains side control.
Squirrel is persisting with the attempt to improve his position.
Squirrel controls the position for a moment.
Diablo is in a dominant position here, looking for a kimura. Squirrel looks calm but he's in trouble here. Diablo gets his leg over his opponent's head and yanks on the arm. Squirrel is tapping like a morse code operator on the titanic! SOS! SOS! Diablo lets go of the hold and Squirrel can pop his arm back in it's socket.
