Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Fred Palowakski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ipad Apple (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Palowakski comes into the arena with Burning Down the House blaring out of the sound system. Ipad Apple has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 32 - 38 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Fred Palowakski!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 46 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ipad Apple!
The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Wesley Smith and Alan Glass.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Palowakski stuffs the takedown.
A quick step to the side and Palowakski tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Palowakski clinches up against the cage.
Apple is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage.
A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors.

Palowakski ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Palowakski no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard.
Apple throwing strikes but missing.
Apple missing there with some ground and pound from the guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Palowakski bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Apple's guard.

Palowakski won't allow Apple to sweep him here.
Palowakski slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Apple had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Palowakski defends it easily.

Palowakski avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Apple trying to control the position.
Apple is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
Palowakski chips away with some ground and pound.
Palowakski working in close now, lands a nice elbow to the side of Apple's head.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
Palowakski with a flurry of punches that miss.
Apple is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Palowakski is controlling him.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Apple can do anything to dispel that myth.

Palowakski is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there.

Palowakski is looking to work some ground and pound but Apple has wrist control.
Palowakski has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Palowakski pushing down on Apple's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Apple tries to roll over but Palowakski keeps him under control.
Palowakski slips a nice elbow through Apple's hands, connecting with Apple's forehead.
Palowakski lands strikes from half guard.

Palowakski escapes and gets back to his feet.

Apple tries to sprawl but Palowakski drives through with a takedown into half guard.

Palowakski is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Apple is just riding it out for now. Palowakski eventually gives up the hold.
Apple really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Palowakski. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Palowakski wants to take a breather but Apple is having none of it.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Apple is trying to stand.

Palowakski seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Apple is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
