PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Vicente Arnold (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hari Kunwar (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Kunwar's choice of entrance music: The Kills - Future Starts Slow. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Hari Kunwar!
The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Ackerman and Daniel Bishop.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Kunwar.
Kunwar tries for a takedown but Arnold circles away easily
and Arnold counters with a nice uppercut.
Kunwar throws a left and a right that both miss
and Arnold cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Kunwar tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Arnold swivels and escapes.
Arnold went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
Vicente Arnold has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Hari Kunwar.
Arnold wants to clinch up but Kunwar keeps it at a distance.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Kunwar rushes Arnold and presses him up against the cage.
Kunwar tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Arnold just stands there and leans against the cage.

Kunwar gets control of Arnold's arms and successfully pulls guard. Kunwar will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Kunwar looking for a guillotine here but Arnold defends easily.

Arnold stands over his opponent and dives in with a flying punch! Kunwar throws up his legs and catches Arnold in a triangle! Oh this looks tight! Arnold tries to escape but he's forced to tap! Wow, fantastic work there by Kunwar! That came out of nowhere!
