The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Nevel moves in looking to clinch but Tribianni pushes him off.
Tribianni shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Nevel as he jumps to the side.

Nevel has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Tribianni is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet.
Nevel drops down looking for an ankle pick but Tribianni pulls his leg out and moves away.

Nevel wants to lay and pray for a moment but Tribianni keeps working.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Nevel pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Tribianni is keeping the position for now.
The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.
Theodore Nevel seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Tribianni.

Nevel unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Tribianni! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Nevel is unloading with more strikes now! Tribianni drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
