Kepplinger gets caught flat footed, as Newsto shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Kepplinger on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Kepplinger tries to get out of the position.
Newsto wants to pass the guard but Kepplinger is keeping the position.
Newsto passes Kepplinger's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Newsto has hold of the far side arm. He's working for the Kimura, can Kepplinger defend it? Newsto steps over the head and cranks it - Kepplinger is tapping out! That was textbook stuff right there - nice submission victory for Newsto!
