The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Blake misses with a right hand
and Johns counters with a single leg into guard. Blake didn't expect that.
Johns postures up.
Blake wants to stand up but Johns is controlling him.
Blake striking off his back but it's not causing Johns any problems.
Johns preventing the sweep.
Blake looks to be working for a triangle here. Oh, it looks like he might have it! Johns has picked Blake up and slammed him! Blake can't keep hold of the triangle and Johns manages to pass to side control!
Johns takes advantage of some sloppy striking from Blake to pass into mount.
Blake has given up his back here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Johns working for the rear naked choke here. He's got one arm under but Blake is defending well. A couple of punches soften him up though and Johns has tightened the hold! This one could be all over! It is! Blake taps out!
