Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dario Verovic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mickey Darmody (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Mickey Darmody is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dario Verovic!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Mickey Darmody!
The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Donatello Bradman and Francis DeMontford.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Verovic tries to move into range but Darmody moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Verovic fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Darmody feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Verovics jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist!
Darmody keeps the fight on the outside.
Verovic tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Darmody paws at him with a jab and circles away.
The crowd cheers as Darmody lands an impressive looking overhand right. Verovic doesn't seem phased though.
A punch lands to the side of Verovic 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Verovic closes the distance looking to clinch
and Darmody counters with a crisp right that sends Verovic to the canvas! Darmody follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mickey Darmody!
