Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dave Lowery (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Galvertron Tron (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Dave Lowery has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Dave Lowery!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Galvertron Tron!
The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Eliza Hachem and Topper Green.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Tron has managed to clinch.
Lowery will no doubt start fighting again in a minute but for now he's just having a little rest, leaning Tron up against the cage.
Tron lands a body punch in the clinch.
We're hearing some news coming in from back stage. It's official - Tron has eaten all the pies!
Lowery is breathing heavily.

Tron's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Tron decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Tron content to sit in half guard and control for a moment.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Let's hope that Tron has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

Tron is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Lowery wants to sweep but Tron has passed to side control!
Tron controlling the position.
It looks like Tron might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lowery is trying to get back to half guard.

Tron decides to stand up, so the ref orders Lowery to his feet.
Tron misses with a jab, cross combination.
A quick step to the side and Lowery tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.
Lowery circles away from the clinch attempt.
Lowery tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Tron manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
It seemed like Tron was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.

Tron changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Lowery looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Lowery sneaks out the side door and pushes Tron away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Tron shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Tron controlling from the top position.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Tron is continuing to stall.
Lowery will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Galvertron Tron dominated that round.
That's time! Back to the action!

Lowery has his takedown stuffed

and Tron counters with a nice right hand that sends Lowery toppling to the canvas! Lowery scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Tron finish him?!

Lowery is rocked!

It looks like Dave Lowery has been cut.

Tron pushes Lowery up against the cage in a clinch.
Oh Lowery is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!

Tron gets a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Lowery tries to kick Tron off in order to stand up. Tron Avoids the leg push though and dives into side control.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Tron has an Americana. Lowery didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Tron is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Tron hooks up with any of them at the after show party.
