Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jacques Ross (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Cormac Crady (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Cormac Crady is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Crady misses with a jab, cross combination.

Crady shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crady showed some decent athleticism there.

Crady stalling away here and it's allowed Ross to slip out his trapped foot and regain full guard.

Ross escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Crady gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
Ross bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Crady's guard.

Ross wants to stand and escape but instead Crady has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Crady gets to his feet - Ross follows without any prompting.

Crady fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Ross, pushing him back against the cage.

Crady shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Crady showed some decent athleticism there.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Ross is looking for a sweep. Crady is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.

Ross is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Crady pulls his head out easily.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Ross is positioning himself well to prevent Crady advancing to mount.

Ross is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Crady throwing shots but Ross is blocking nicely.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Crady lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.
Ross is concentrating on defense, preventing Crady from advancing position.

Ross moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

Crady stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ross swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Crady wants to stand but Ross is controlling his posture from full guard.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.

Ross drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.

Crady bucks up and manages to escape back to his feet!
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Crady misses with a two punch combination.
As Crady looks to move away, Ross throws a big counter combo but Crady just gets out of the way.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Crady accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Crady has gone for a leg lock! Ross slips out almost immediately though and dives into Crady's guard.

Crady is landing with some decent strikes but Ross is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Ross wants to hold on but Crady pushes him away.
Ross could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
