Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Shane Liddell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Colt Westbrook (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Shane Liddell has the edge in experience - let's see if he can make that count tonight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Liddell shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Westbrook as he jumps to the side.
Westbrook throws a head kick that Liddell semi-blocks.
Liddell shoots for a takedown but Westbrook saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Liddell shoots in looking for a takedown. Westbrook tries to sprawl out of it but Liddell keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Westbrook manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shane Liddell. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Liddell takes a kick to the side of the head.
Liddell closes this distance looking for a takedown but Westbrook circles away.

Liddell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Westbrook tries to avoid it but Liddell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Westbrook to the ground. Westbrook escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Liddell closes the distance and clinches up with Westbrook, looking for a takedown. Liddell pushes Westbrook against the cage but Westbrook circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
Westbrook throws a head kick that Liddell semi-blocks.
Westbrook wants to clinch up but Liddell keeps it at a distance.

Westbrook breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Liddell changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Westbrook tries to avoid it but Liddell manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Westbrook to the ground. Westbrook escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Liddell uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Westbrook.

Westbrook knocks Liddell to the floor with a head kick! Can he finish him!?

It looks like Shane Liddell has been cut.

Westbrook decides to stand back up.
Westbrook throws a big overhand right that connects, sending Liddell tumbling to the canvas!

Liddell is rocked!
Westbrook is stalling in the full guard.
Oh Liddell is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!

Westbrook stands up and waves to Liddell to follow him.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Westbrook scores with a kick to the body.
Liddell seems to have got his legs back now.
Liddell misses with a takedown attempt - Westbrook sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Westbrook pulls out of a head kick attempt.
This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Liddell. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery.
Liddell takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Look low, kick high! Westbrook uses the oldest trick in the book to send Liddell tumbling to the canvas, in a truly brutal knockout! Westbrook is absolutely delighted - when Liddell wakes up, I doubt he'll be quite so happy!
