Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Rusty Merritt (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Hewitt Longtry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Hewitt Longtry was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Longtry misses with a two punch combination.

Merritt decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Longtry tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Merritt manages to move to mount!

Merritt will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Merritt is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Longtry can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Merritt throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Longtry has his hands clasped together but Merritt breaks the hold and Longtry is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Merritt!
