Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Andrew Ryan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Guy Georges (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Ryan comes to the cage accompanied by Beast. I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Guy Georges was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

22 - 15 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Guy Georges!
The judges for this bout are Illya Tyunina, Konstantin Menshow and Igor Prikhodko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Georges is defended easily by Ryan.
Ryan gets caught flat footed, as Georges shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
Georges wants to pass the guard but Ryan is keeping the position.
Ryan preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Ryan has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Georges off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Georges looks for a takedown but Ryan sprawls well.
Ryan looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Ryan attempts a leg kick but it's missed by a good margin.
Guy Georges seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Georges closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Ryan sneaks out the side door and pushes Georges away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.

Georges stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Ryan swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Ryan wants to get back to his feet but Georges is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Georges slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Georges is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Ryan has escaped the position, nice work there.

Georges isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Ryan stacks Georges on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Ryan!

You get the feeling that Ryan really doesn't like being in this position too much.
Georges is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Ryan to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Ryan shrugs it off.
Guy Georges has got the better of the ground game so far.
Ryan is looking to get back to his feet - it's going to be hard from this position.

Georges moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Ryan has worked his arm free - good work by Ryan!

Guy Georges showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards.

Georges tries to move into range but Ryan moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand.
Ryan takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it.

And Georges tries to counter it with a takedown but Ryan pushes his down on his head and steps out.

Georges shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Ryan sprawls well. Ryan wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Georges gets slowly back to his feet.

Ryan fakes a jab and throws a low kick but Georges checks it well.
Ryan rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Georges moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

Georges doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Ryan lands a big head kick that sends Georges tumbling to the mat! Ryan takes a step backwards and waves Georges back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Ryan steps in with a hook that catches Georges right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Ryan follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Georges looks absolutely devastated.

Andrew Ryan really struggled to get his t-shirt on before his hand was raised. Making sure that Spartan Nutrition 160Q with Proof logo gets some air time is pretty tricky when you're all sweaty.
