Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Williams Harper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Naruto Sagemode (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Williams Harper!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Naruto Sagemode!
The judges for this bout are Seu Braga, Emerson Jorge and Alexandre Firmino.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Sagemode gets in close and instigates a clinch.
Harper blocks a body shot from Sagemode.

Sagemode gets double underhooks and manages to take the fight to the ground.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Harper keeping full guard, as Sagemode tries to pass.
Sagemode seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
Harper throwing strikes off his back to little effect.
Sagemode is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harper wants to stand and escape but Sagemode is having none of it.

Sagemode gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Sagemode closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage.

Harper tries to throw a body punch but Sagemode avoids it by throwing Harper back against the cage.

Harper really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Harper wants to stand up but Sagemode is controlling him.

Harper manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Sagemode manages to get himself to full guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Harper with a flurry of punches that miss.
Harper has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Sagemode working a defensive guard but Harper manages to pass into side control anyway.
Sagemode takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Sagemode is looking to slip a leg under and get half guard but Harper is one step ahead and moves to full mount!

Sagemode keeps trying to improve his position.

Harper jumps to the side looking to secure the arm triangle…. Ooooh, that looks tight… Sagemode is gargling but he's managed to escape! Nice work there by Sagemode and Harper has given up the dominant position trying to land that submission.

Sagemode is trying to control Harper's posture but Harper avoids it.

The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so.
Sagemode defending against the ground and pound.
Harper tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Sagemode is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.

Harper tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Harper has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Naruto Sagemode dominated that round.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Sagemode has taken the fight to the clinch.
Harper swings wildly with an uppercut but Sagemode uses good head movement to avoid it.

Sagemode pulls Harper into guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Harper stands up over Sagemode, holding his feet. He dives back in and lands a decent shot to the head.
Harper is looking to work some ground and pound but Sagemode has wrist control.

The referee has stepped in and called for a break in the action. We'll restart on the feet.

Sagemode fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Harper manages to avoid it.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Sagemode thuds a left hand into Harper's body.
Harper tries a low kick but Sagemode avoids it.
Harper takes a head kick and keeps coming.
We've been informed that Sagemode has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
A slow jab from Sagemode misses its intended target.
Harper lifts his leg as if looking to counter with a high kick.
Sagemode checks the leg kick nicely there.
Harper tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Sagemode has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Harper forces Sagemode back against the cage and clinches.
Sagemode lands a knee to the body.

Sagemode has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Harper clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Harper is trying to get back to his feet but Sagemode has full control of the position and if anything, Harper has just worked his way into a worse spot.
Sagemode trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Harper can't escape the position.
Harper is very frustrated here, being controlled quite effectively by Sagemode.

There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action.

Harper ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Harper does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.

Sagemode has Harper pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Sagemode pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Harper tumbling to the mat - Sagemode dives into Harper's guard.
Harper will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Harper wriggles free and stands up.
Harper motions for Sagemode to come forward. Harper throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.
Naruto Sagemode is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Sagemode moves into range and clinches up with Harper.
Sagemode throws an elbow but it misses.
Sagemode lands a body punch - he's looking to wear down Harper.

Sagemode's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Naruto Sagemode seems to be working more effectively in the clinch in the fight so far.

Harper keeps control of Sagemode as he tries to wriggle out of the double underhooks.
Sagemode lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.

Harper is rocked!

Sagemode has dropped down and is working for a takedown. Harper is trying to keep an underhook but Sagemode manages to get the takedown into half guard.
Oh Harper is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Sagemode stands up from half guard... He's had enough of that ground malarky for the time being.

Harper seems to have got his legs back now.

Harper shoots for a takedown but Sagemode saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Sagemode changes levels for a counter takedown but doesn't follow through with his attempt.

Sagemode forces Harper back against the cage and clinches.
Sagemode lands a right hand that snaps the head of Harper backwards.

Naruto Sagemode is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight.

Naruto Sagemode comfortably won the final round on my scorecard.
Well Sagemode has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
