The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Rottwel gets caught napping as Jones dives in and scores a takedown. Rottwel manages to retain guard.
Jones slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.
Rottwel manages to land a sweep and he's now on top! Lovely Jiu Jitsu!

Rottwel is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Jones sees it coming and defends easily.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Rottwel looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Jones on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Jones tries to get out of the position.

Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rottwel can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.

Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.

Rottwel looks like he's trying to stand up.
Jones frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Rottwel is squirming around, avoiding Jones's attempts to control the action.

It looks like Igor Rottwel has been cut.
Rottwel sneaks a leg under to get to half guard.

Jones is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Rottwel defends it well.
Rottwel wants to control but Jones is keeping busy.
Jones looks to be in better condition than last time we saw him fight. Obviously he's been working hard on his cardio.

Jones is nestled in close to Rottwel, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Rottwel won't allow Jones to pass to mount.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
