Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 56 - 32 - 2, fighting out of Las Vegas, Paul Bourque!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 22 - 18 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Colt McLaren!
The judges for this bout are Stewart Dunkirk, George Francis and Daniel Franklin.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

The fight moves into the clinch position.
McLaren leaning against his opponent.
McLaren is pushing Bourque up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
McLaren changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Bourque fights it off and pushes away nicely.
McLaren goes for a double leg but Bourque avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Bourque continues to drive forward.

McLaren throws an elbow that misses. Bourque uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in McLaren's guard. Nice move by Bourque!

Bourque would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
McLaren wants to sweep here but Bourque controlling him for the moment.

Bourque will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

McLaren throws a big right hand that misses.
McLaren is pushing down on Bourque's leg trying to pass to half guard. Bourque is fighting to maintain full guard but McLaren has managed to sneak the leg through.
Bourque is not content to let McLaren control the position.

McLaren takes a deep breath and rests his weight momentarily on top of his opponent, to control the position.
McLaren lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears.

Bourque is defending against the submission attempts here by McLaren.

McLaren seems to be looking for submissions.
McLaren sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Bourque defending well though.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Bourque on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.

McLaren seems like he's working for an arm triangle here. He's freed his trapped foot and he's rotating nicely. Bourque is in big trouble! He's tapping out! This one is aaaaaaaaaaaall over!
