Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Yves Jabouin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Pierre Garcon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Jabouin comes to the cage accompanied by Trobule On My Mind- Pusha T and Tyler The Creator. Man, I cannot wait for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
24 - 11 - 2, fighting out of Montreal, Yves Jabouin!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
7 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Pierre Garcon!
The judges for this bout are Kenichi Hosakawa, Yuuki Gou and Sosuke Kotani.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jabouin wants to clinch up but Garcon keeps it at a distance.
Jabouin ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.

Garcon missing with a left hand there. Jabouin was out of range so wasted energy throwing that one.

Garcon feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Garcon slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
Garcon's corner are shouting for him to control the position and he seems happy to oblige.

Garcon goes for a double leg but Jabouin avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Jabouin continues to drive forward.

In the pre-fight buildup videos we saw Garcon working his ground and pound in the gym. He isn't landing a great percentage of his ground strikes so far though.

Yves Jabouin is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Jabouin lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.

Jabouin is really head hunting here, hardly looking to strike to the body at all.

As Garcon looks to move away, Jabouin throws a big counter combo but Garcon just gets out of the way.
A low kick from Garcon is predictable there
and Jabouin counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!

After the fight, Yves Jabouin was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
