Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Wendell Finley (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and George Havvik (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rumors backstage are that the fighters have been paid to keep it standing but we know that would never happen in MMA!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, George Havvik!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Franklin, Tiny Johnson and Cecil Peabody.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Havvik darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard.

Havvik shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Finley's guard.

Finley shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Havvik napping and manages to drive through into side control!

Finley wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Havvik has him pressed against the cage.

Finley breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

Finley gets taken down but at least he's managed to land in guard.

Havvik takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Havvik is in a good position here but he's just trying to control... And he's not even managing to do that successfully.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity.

Havvik manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Finley on his heels. He'll look to pass Finley's guard now, I'm sure.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Wendell Finley.
Well Finley has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
