Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 41 - 28 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Tatsuya Aoki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 35 - 21 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Pegg Frost!
The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Robert Douchet and Ian Loll.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Frost closes the distance and pushes Aoki back into the cage.
Frost with a knee to the head.


It looks like Tatsuya Aoki has been cut.
Aoki wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Frost misses with a punch to the body.
Aoki drops down looking for an ankle pick but Frost pulls his leg out and moves away.
Frost fails with an attempt to clinch.

Frost lands an elbow that stopped Aoki in his tracks for a moment.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Aoki has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

Aoki pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Aoki fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!


Frost is rocked!
Frost reaches up and holds on to Aoki to control the position.
Frost is still in real trouble! Can Aoki finish him?
A big strike lands for Aoki! That's really hurt Frost and he's turned his back - Aoki keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Aoki jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:27 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Tatsuya Aoki!
