PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Broderick Rasmussen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Buck Wild (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Rasmussen has a slight injury, which hopefully won't affect the fight too much. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Wild shoots in for a takedown and gets it.
Wild seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Nice strikes from Wild there.
Rasmussen is breathing heavily.
Wild sitting and controlling from the half guard.
Wild works his way into side control.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Wild wants to lay and pray for a moment but Rasmussen keeps working.
Rasmussen can't do much from the bottom here.

Wild is trying to get an arm triangle but Rasmussen is defending well.

Wild tries to move to mount but Rasmussen blocks the move with his legs.
Wild in side control, just content to control the action for now.

Wild working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.

Wild tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Wild has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
Rasmussen struggling a bit here.
Wild looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
Rasmussen takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Wild cracks Rasmussen with an elbow. That is naaassty.

Wild cracks Rasmussen with a big elbow. Oh, he's hurt! Wild immediately mounts and start dropping bombs! Rasmussen is done! The referee jumps in and saves him from any more punishment - a quick and decisive finish by Wild!
