The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Blue, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Taran shoots in but Blue avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Blue moves to clinch but Taran breaks away

and Taran counters with a single leg into guard. Blue didn't expect that.
Blue knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Taran on the ground.
Taran with a flurry of punches that miss.
Taran pushes down on Blue's leg and manages to get into half guard.
Taran keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Taran thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Blue's head.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Taran sitting in half guard, looking to land shots. Blue defending well though.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Taran drops an elbow to the side of Blue's head.
Well, if Taran is going to just lie there, perhaps we should talk about what we're having for dinner tonight… I'm having a ham and pineapple pizza… Yum. Can't wait.
Taran winds up and cracks Blue with a swinging punch to the side of the head.

Taran is taking a breather. Blue says something to him but it's hard to make out. Perhaps he's telling him to get on with it and actually do something.
Blue is looking to control Taran's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Blue avoid being mounted?
Taran works his foot free and advances to mount.

Taran throws some shoulder strikes here and then postures up. Oh, he's gone for an armbar! Blue has his hands clasped together but Taran breaks the hold and Blue is forced to tap! This one is aaaaaaaaaaall over! That was lightning fast by Taran!
